Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in the front yard of my house in Babol,Mazandaran,Iran

Time

It was in the afternoon I think but I can't remember exactly. I remember that it was raining and the weather was so lovely. After the rain I took my camera out focused on this beautiful drop.

Lighting

It was just after raining and the sky was still cloudy. The natural light was soft so I took the photo with natural light.

Equipment

I used my previous DSLR Nikon D3100 with its own bundled lens 18-55 mm

Inspiration

I am really interested in close up and macro. I saw this little drop and I thought that would be nice if I could take a photo quickly before it falls on the ground.

Editing

Yes of course!! made it black and white and I also added to it blacks and I increased contrast. I also did my favorite processing which is adding to its clarity.

In my camera bag

I have a variable GND filter only! plus the camera of course!

Feedback

Try to be quick! Use shallow depth of field by setting the lens to Tele. Get as close as possible and focus correctly on the desired point.
