I shot a similar picture of the NYC sky line months ago and got great feedback, but I wasn't satisfied with the shot. I went back 3 times and got kicked out by the cops twice for passing the fence before I got this. This is 2 exposures, one before the sunset and one after the lights went on in the buildings.

This is an amazing picture. Definitely worth taking it, even after getting kicked out by the cops!

Lovely photo the water is excellent and the wooden posts in the water are good with long exposures. I have lee filters including and ND Grad and a Big Stopper which one did you use?. This looks like its taken from Brooklyn Bridge Park which I read has some of the bet views of the Skyline. I'm from Scotland but might have the chance to go to New York next month. I'm really into US skylines night time city photography long exposures and skyscrapers etc. And taking a shot like this would be my idea of photographic heaven.
