Location
I captured this photograph in Pennsylvania. It was Autumn, when the skies are cloudy and the leaves have changed.Time
I captured this photograph in the evening, just before sunset.Lighting
I used standard lighting here.Equipment
I believe I used a Nikon D50 for this photograph. It was taken a few years back. No tripod, and I used a zoom lens.Inspiration
I loved the way these birds had arranged themselves, and the overall feeling of Autumn that they represented.Editing
Yes, I used Neat Image, CS4, and Photo Filtre to process. In my camera bag
Wow, I actually have 2 bags now! Haha! I have a speed light, reflectors, portrait lenses, wide angle lens, 2 zoom lenses, mini tripod, extra cards, a remote, extra batteries, and other items.Feedback
I would say that timing is key. If you seek a certain sort of photograph, get there and set up, ensuring a great end result. If you want an overlook of umbrellas in the rain, check the forecast, find a high set up, protect your equipment, and watch individuals below with umbrellas. When you see that perfect shot, grab it. Sometimes, we come across an image by pure luck, so we capture it. That is not always the case, but always be prepared.
