Volaticus

Elysium is a place in the underworld, separate from Hades realm and reserved for mortal people from Earth that are related to Gods and later those chosen by the Gods who have lead a heroic and righteous life before they died.

It is a place that is easy to stay, there is no rain or snow, no sorrow and flourishing, a life without tears and blessed with an oceans breeze

I have been wanting to create this photo for many years, the one recurring dream I have is of flying. I've been waiting to find the perfect place to shoot this and when I set eyes on this beautiful room in photos, I knew I had to go and see it for myself and when I did, I knew it was the place I had been waiting for, to finally create this shot.

This shoot is all real and in camera, everything you see was actually in the room, the only photoshop was to take away the ladder the model was standing on.

Such an amazing shoot, thank you to Dominic and Alexa for being truly wonderful on this shoot and going the extra mile to get these shots. I will be retouching and uploading many of these over the next couple of weeks. Also to the incredibly talented Joanne Flemming who designed this beautiful dress.
