Location
This photo was taken on a road trip from Missouri to NY with my dog. Behind this house is a small gas station where I stopped around lunch time. Most of the surrounding area was farms with very little civilization around.Time
I stopped at this location around lunchtime.Lighting
Very good day for Infrared.Equipment
The camera was a Mamiya RB67 with Rollei Infrared 120 film and a #92 B+W filter. I did not use a tripod since the filter was not that dark.Inspiration
Driving through the vast emptiness of the midwest can make you appreciate small moments like this.Editing
After scanning the 120 film I only used photoshop to clean some dirt specs and slightly adjusted contrast. In my camera bag
Typically I have a Pentax K1000 with some extra 35mm film and the Mamiya RB67 on hand with extra 120 rolls. During the warmer seasons I like to have the Infrared films and filters as well.Feedback
The best pictures I have scanned from my films are the ones that I least expect to come out on top.
