It is an amazing experience and witness the first light to hit the top of the highest mountain of New Zealand, we started walking at 3am to catch the sunrise here at Hooker Glacier terminal lake, it was a very windy morning. I was in awe as i first saw Aoraki or Mt. Cook up close. A lot of people lost their lives trying to summit the mighty mountain, and just a week ago another life was claimed. The training ground of sir Edmund Hilary before he took Mt. Everest in 1953. This location is the most beautiful place i have ever seen in my entire existence, and will remain a favorite for a very long time...
