Behind The Lens

Location

I am not sure what to call this place because it just any area where i am find alot of grass or bushes and also isolated from people.

Time

It was late evening where this swamps of sweat bees were preparing to sleep.

Lighting

It was late evening so a bit dark already but it was not a problem for me because i was using my nikon sb900 with DIY diffuser.

Equipment

I was using nikon d90 with sb900 speedlite with my DIY diffuser and shot it handheld. If i use tripod it will be a problem.. i might share the grass or bush and might chase away the insects.

Inspiration

I enjoy taking pictures because what is captured in camera are at times more beautiful than what i see with my own eye. I also notice that we tend to miss out beautiful things with what we see with our own eye but what we captured we can see everything and moreover keep in memory and share it out with friends.

Editing

Yes i do post processing because i like it a bit saturated.. more color and also post processing can in a way sharpen certain thing we want to show. I shoot raw so post processing is a MUST,

In my camera bag

I don't invest too much because photography is expensive so just have what is necessary for my interest - nikon7100, tamron 90sp, full set kenko extension tube, nikon sb900 and DIY diffuser.

Feedback

I am just a self learned photographer. I simply shoot manually.. since picture can be saved on card so i shoot alot with all sort of aperture or shutter but always with low ISO. I learn everything through experience. I don't scare if people call me I shoot out of focus because along the way i surely will get a couple of great shots. I love nature so going out for macro shooting is in a way i relax my body and mind as well enjoy nature around me. Needless to say we need to be caution along the way .. don't simply step on snakes... :)
