I took this image in the early morning before the fog burned off the lake.Lighting
Fog and over cast conditions can make for excellent black and white images.Equipment
I used a nikon D7000 with an 18-105 mm lens. I shot this at 105mm.Inspiration
The scene was begging me to take the image. The fog, fishermen, and the stillness of the water where all compelling to my eye. The dedication of the fisherman also added another element to the scene.Editing
Every image I take requires some post processing because I shoot raw files. For this image, I added contrast, sharpening and converted the image to grey scale. I also added a little clarity and removed chromatic aberration.In my camera bag
In my bag I carry: a nikon D810, a 50mm, 16-35mm, and 70-300mm lens. I carry a remote, a pelican memory card case, pec pads, polarizers, extra batteries, and a water bottle.Feedback
