The Cutter Races are held annually in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Quarter horses are harnessed to chariots for a 1-4 mile race on an ice track. It may look like I'm risking life and limb, but I'm some 50 yards down the track. There is a safety rider protecting me or the racers to make sure I get out of the way before I bump into the horses.
