Behind The Lens

Location

At a wolf preserve in FL, they help wolves, wolf dog mixes, foxes, coyotes, and all kinds of other smaller animals.

Time

It was mid morning when I shot this picture.

Lighting

The wolves looked so regal just standing there surveying their surroundings, I'm glad I captured that moment.

Equipment

Sony A100 with a 300 mm lens, handheld, natural lighting.

Inspiration

My love for wolves and all animals to share with people to show they really aren't the bad animals they are made out to be but magnificent creatures just wanting to be...

Editing

All I ever do with my pictures is some basic lighting although this one didn't need much tweaking at all.

In my camera bag

Now I carry a Sony A77 II, flash, 50-125mm lens, 70-300 mm lens, filters, and a hood.

Feedback

Get down on the same level as the object you are trying to capture, for wildlife, patience is the key!
