Behind The Lens

Location

Saint Catherine is a city in the South Sinai Governorate. It is located at the outskirts of the El Tur Mountains.

Time

around 4 am during on my way to the top of the mountain.

Lighting

I wanted this image to look magical and to draw the viewer into a scene in the holy place. I decided involves using long-duration shutter speed to sharply capture the stationary elements of images.

Equipment

Nikon D5000 and 18-55 lenses

Inspiration

showing the greatness of this amazing place

Editing

its 2 photos mix together the long shutter for the light way between the mountains and another photo for the stars and the moon

In my camera bag

for the wide shoots, I use 18-55, for close shots and everyday shoot I use my fav 35mm

Feedback

Taking pictures is easy. Making photographs is harder. u need to enjoy the landscape first before thinking about how you will make a great photograph. doing anything well takes work.
