Behind The Lens

Location

Photo was taken at Westcliffe, Colorado.

Time

This photo was take sometime early evening on October 25, 2013.

Lighting

The overcast and some natural sunlight was prefect.

Equipment

This panoramic is a combination of photos using a Canon D7 and a tripod.

Inspiration

My son and I had been driving all day from unpleasant visit with a relative and we were very emotionally exhausted. We came across this beautiful scenery and had to stop to admire its beauty. Not only were we blessed with such beauty, my son and I were able to chat and digest what transpired earlier in the day. This day was special for us and I had to capture the beauty my son and I were a witness to. The view was magnificent and the company made it even better.

Editing

Yes, I used Lightroom/Photoshop panoramic stitching.

In my camera bag

Normally, I carry my camera with a few prime lens. Nothing too fancy when traveling through rough terrain.

Feedback

Just having patience to capture the right the moment, is my best advice.
