Location
Pickering Ontario Canada. The photo was taken at the foot of Liverpool Road by the Marina. Pickering is 15 minutes east of Toronto.Time
The photo was taken around 8:30 or 9:00 pm in late summer / early fall.Lighting
The sun was setting through a cloudy sky giving the colours and reflections that are seen in the photo.Equipment
Nikon d-800 with a 28 300 Nikon lens. No flash or tripod were used. Had to prop my elbows on the bridge to keep the camera steady.Inspiration
The lighting caught my attention and it changed very quickly. I took several photos within a few minutes and got totally different results.Editing
I adjusted the contrast and brightness.In my camera bag
Normally I have a D-800, D-200, 28-300, 16-24, and a 60 m macro lens. I have a ND filter, Polorizing filter, and a speedlight. I also take my tripod in the car.Feedback
Use the tripod and a trigger. Bracket the shots that you take. Be patient and take several photos as the sun sets.
