Location
This was taken in one of the many beautiful places in a province called Laguna. It was about a 30-minute hike to the spot. I was really a newbie back then and all I kept thinking about is how "the trinity" works. This was one of the first set of photos I took with my camera on my first photowalk as well.Time
This was taken around noon, sun is at it's peak.Lighting
This is how I got introduced to ND filters, but that's a different story. Going back to the photo, I propped my camera to the angle I want, and after many trails and error... Voila! I set my camera to 20 secs, cranked the aperture to 36 and set my ISO to the lowest setting(ISO100 in my case), and there it is... The beautiful shot of the Taytay Falls.Equipment
This was shot on a Sony A350 with 15-70mm kitlens and a Benro tripod.Inspiration
This was one of my first experiments, as I want to call it. I remembered some of my pals were taking long-exposure shots of the river flowing, the falls and the people around. All I had was my camera, a kit lens and a tripod. I was struggling at that time 'coz i cannot figure out how they are taking those amazing shots and I cannot make it.Editing
Except for the watermark, no other post-processing done. I didn't know how to back then.In my camera bag
Before it was just my camera with the kitlens and a tripod. Now, added a "Beercan", a 1.8 prime lens, a macro lens, a speedlight and triggers.Feedback
Keep shooting. Learn the basics first and master them, then break 'em. Experiment!
