This photo taken in Bintan Island Indonesia. I try to capture the moment with my camera after several years never been back to my hometownTime
That day I was with my friend tried to take a trip around the island, about 8 AM we headed to the shelter. Straight in front of us I saw nice view and imagine that as a good composition, but the weather was so cloudy and tends flat.Lighting
That day the weather was so cloudy and the sky tends so flat. I decide take in monochrome with available light to capture the moment.Equipment
This was shoot on Nikon D7000 with 18-105 f/3.5 mm no other equipment was involved.Inspiration
I love to take landscape photos with color or just black and white depending on the situation and the moment. For black and white photograpy I was inspired by by Daniel Jonghari.Editing
I always do post-processing. I using NX2 to develop RAW (just for Level, sharpening, brightness and contrast), for the finishing i used Photoshop to add Neutral Density filter effect.In my camera bag
I'm just an amateur, I only have Nikon D7000 with 18-105 lens kit, and some GND cokin filter.Feedback
For the Landscape, sharpness of the image is an absolute and the second is the composition . Think quickly to make decision or we lose the moment.
