This photo was taken in a nature reserve in the Free State in South Africa - Quite fitting for the model's wild beauty!Time
Although we started early so that we could avoid the harsher midday sun, this was taken around midday.Lighting
I used only natural light as I felt that the model's natural beauty and the raw winter field (and of course the shoes....oh the shoes!) created enough contrast.Equipment
This was shot with a Canon 600D and a Canon EF-S 18-135mm Lens - no other equipment.Inspiration
I was invited on this shoot by two other photographers and had never seen the featured model before. I wanted to capture her natural beauty and strength blending with the harsh yet beautiful South African winter landscape in the background.Editing
I did a basic light adjustment in Lightroom as I wanted this to look as natural as possible with clean, bright colours.In my camera bag
