Location

This one was taken just outside Kalbarri Western Australia in 2013.

Time

I’m pretty sure it was afternoon.

Lighting

Being afternoon in mid-north Western Australia, the sun was fairly harsh so I was fortunate to get this shot in the shade.

Equipment

I was using a Nikon Coolpix P520 handheld, no flash.

I was and still am blown away by these colourful finches.
