Location
This was taken at a Catwalk during Newcastle Fashion Week. When I saw that other photographers would be at the end of the catwalk to catch the models walking towards them so found myself a position to the side and catch them walking past and returning. There would be enough cameras trying to get the same shot, why do the same.Time
This was an indoor event with no influence from daylightLighting
There was a bank of white led light for main lighting which gave a strong light that gave nice stong clear illumination but for this shot I exposed for the light reflected off the walls for a softer effect.Equipment
I used a Nikon D7100 with a Nikkor 50mm1.8 lens because of the low light conditions.Inspiration
It was one of those situations where you see a scene and the light the subject and background were just right.Editing
Yes I had to lighten the shadows and soften the grain and a bit of selective sharpening on the eyes mouth and hair.In my camera bag
I normally carry a Nikkor 50mm a Sigma 10- 20mm and a Nikkor 70-300mm.Feedback
When you look at a scene just think "what would it look like from over there" try a different position from other people and sometimes it works.
