Stunning Beetle

When we were in Kerala for the summer, we had to walk a lot. These walks consisted of walking back and forth between our lodge and anywhere else we wanted to go in the mountainous region. During one of our walks back to our lodge, I noticed this little guy slowly tumbling down the steps... He didn't seem to move very fast, nor did it seem like he was able to jump. I tried many times to get a photo of him with my D5100 but alas, they all were either out of focus or shaken. So i pulled out my iPhone to test my luck and to my surprise, I got a ridiculously sharp photo! This would be the photo I took. I'm still shocked at the clarity that my iPhone was able to get... Considering I don't have a macro lens right now, I guess I can make do with my iPhone for now.
