Behind The Lens

Location

Longchamp Palace, Marseille, France

Time

It was taken at night this was the whole purpose of the event: to expose the new lighting design of this magnificent palace, that actually never served as a palace.

Lighting

My favorite pictures are all night shots to show the game of light is my intention, and in Marseille night is a totally different opera, with lights on this rough city look like a princess

Equipment

Nothing much more then a bridge camera P520 by Nikon. I never uses a tripod or a flash at night

Inspiration

This is a beautiful palace and the lighting gives it an additional royal look, it is a complex architecture that cannot be captured in a single shot

Editing

No i never process my pictures

In my camera bag

Only a single p520 camera its lens is covering a range of 4 different lenses

Feedback

You can't capture something similar, all you need to do is try to show what your eyes see, what your mind consider as a wonderful view. There is no need for a special equipment just know your own camera. do not use a flash, the whole point is not to add light. if you have to use a monopod or a tripod think carefully where and how to place them.
