This alligator has become my "friend". He knows me when he smells/hears me although reptiles do not show or have the "love" emotion.
He always knows whether or not its me.. I've become very attached to him and would do whatever it takes to keep him out of the hands of those who don't truly understand the nature of the species. I once was quick to want to kill and eat one of these animals but after spending time with George have found a new respect, a love, and a compassion for them.
