Looks great.
Which effect did you use for this?
I'm trying to upskill myself in post processing using Elements.

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Paris. The woman is my daughter , Hannah. We were looking for a place to eat crepes.

Time

Around 10 am

Lighting

It was natural lighting of course

Equipment

I was using my Nikon D 40 without the flash

Inspiration

I was in Paris, everywhere we looked there were amazing photo opportunities.

Editing

Yes, I use photoshop and an app on the Windows Surface called Fresh Paint. I first usedFresh Paint to create painterly effects. Then I opened the image is photoshop and used a thin brush to create the gestural marks.

In my camera bag

I am a very sparse photographer when I travel. I just have the camera , an extra zoom lens and one extra card. I also use my iPhone 6 Plus which is an amazing point and shoot camera.

Feedback

Take lots and lots of photos. I really am drawn to urban architecture. The shapes and color are fun to play with in the processing stage. Don't be afraid to experiment and trust your eye!
