Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at Pok Tunggal beach in Central Java, Indonesia.

Time

I capture this sunset moment by looking for the right location on the beach with a few rocks, to get a slow speed. Around 5 to 6 in the afternoon.

Lighting

Morning light at sunrise or evening at sunset is my favorite for getting beach and mountain landscape photos. And waiting for a moment like that is like fishing, if I don't get good results I'll do it the next day :)

Equipment

The camera I use is the Nikon D7000, with an 18-70mm f / 3.5 lens and a tripod.

Inspiration

Just wanted to capture a beach that was still quiet (at that time), with a few rocks to get the slow wave speed.

Editing

When I took this photo, I took several shots to get the right sunset color so that it wouldn't be too complicated to process it.

In my camera bag

Usually I bring 1 camera, 2 lenses, a tripod and some lens filters. But it all depends on what and where we will shoot.

Feedback

Don't be bored to repeat in the same location to get what you want. If today is not satisfactory, it can be repeated the next day. :)
