Thank you tex. I was very lucky that this owl decided to use this electrical/telephone poll as a perch for a winter. So excited to see a wild one. He/she brought quite a crowd to the small country road near my house. I wish I had a lens bigger than my little 55-200mm. Would have loved to have gotten a closer shot. Hope you get a chance to capture an image of this beautiful rare owl.

Thank you. Yes he/she seemed quite content to just perch up there all day long. Sometimes at night driving down my country road I would see a snow owl hunting in the fields. I suspect it was this same owl.
