This has to be one of my favourite castles around Scotland. Castle Stalker, is a picturesque castle, 25 miles north of Oban, sitting on Loch Linnhe off the West coast of Scotland. The castle itself is steeped in history and has changed hands many times since its inception in 1320. More details at the link below for those historians amongst you who want to know more.

I particularly liked the way the rising sunshine was shining on the hills in the background and how two Cormorants were perched on the rock, seemingly standing watch over the castle.
