When I first started out, I took this shot hanging out of a window of car. It was the first time I was ever really proud of a photo. So much so, that I actually had it printed. One of my best friends had seen the print and asked if he could buy it, and of course,I sold it without hesitation. He hung it on his wall proudly and always received compliments on it from people who came over, in which he never hesitated to tell me what they had said, fueling my passion for photography even more so. He was one of my biggest supporters from the time I laid hands on my camera, right until the day he took his own life. To this day, the very thought of it tears me apart inside; a constant battle with an inevitable ending of immense frustration and eternal heartache. I had it reprinted and hung one on my own wall, letting his twin sister take the original. It's like one of those nightmares but you never wake up. I dedicated this sunset to one of my best friends Martin. It's one of my most sentimental shots, and for the first time in almost three years I'm sharing it again with the world.

Wherever you are man, I just want to say that I'll never let you down. Ever. Even if I have to live for both of us...
