The photo was taken in a beautiful garden nearby my house.Time
It was a beautiful sunny morning, I couldn't avoid taking my camera with me!Lighting
Lighting is natural, I was enchanted by the beauty of that rose and looked at it from different perspectives; natural light made the magic.Equipment
That's the funny thing! The camera I use for my photos actually belongs to a very close friend, and that day I couldn't use it, so I took with me my old little Olympus camera. Nothing else.Inspiration
I am never too mental when I decide to take a picture, though I do love to experiment too. The first thing that draws me is a life experience, and particularly Nature: the emotions and richness you can get from being in contact with such beauty is the fuel, the passion that moves me. That flower was so perfect, its petals so tender and the smell so good, that I had to take a picture of it!Editing
No post-processing.In my camera bag
I prefer not to carry too much with me. In most cases I just take with me the camera (Canon 60D), Sigma 17 - 70 mm Macro lenses, which I feel very comfortable with.Feedback
Though every flower is beautiful, the choice of the subject is important: it has to inspire something inside of you, wether it's perfection, beauty, etc. I'd always advice to photograph with natural light; morning light is usually the best to make colours and shape stand out, while I would avoid noon and late afternoon light. My most recommended tip? Get the sense of what you want to capture, the essence of it, feel it.. I could almost define it a sort of meditation, a pleasure, getting in deep contact with all the beauty, feel it, get emotions out of it.
