After getting literally “kicked out” of Yosemite National Park because the government shut down in 2013 I had a few extra days of putting around San Francisco! My intention this afternoon was to visit China Beach and shoot the Bridge from the shore, when I got there I had a big surprise…even though its not a National Park, China Beach is run by the park service and because of the shutdown they put an 8’ high chain link fence up so nobody could gain access to the shore. I drove down through the neighborhood and finally found a way to the beach, it seems Baker Beach is know as a nude beach and while I was shooting some very free spirited fellas came by to see what I was taking photos of!
