Depth of field is one of my favourite techniques both in Photography and film. I believe it creates this visual flair, which simply makes the image profoundly different and somewhat professional. The blur as you may call it, in the background gives the image a sense of ‘more’ but also ambiguity in its implications. Thus the photograph is further explored, details are refined and questions are raised. Hence creating discussion and maybe debate from one simple click.I took this image with my new macro lens, whilst I experimented with depth of field and aperture. After looking through the images, I was definitely pleased with the outcome. Let me know what you think!
