On Wednesday, June 12th, 2013 - I noticed this spider on the back of my Tahoe as I got ready to leave to go to the Federal Building in Downtown Dallas to watch my son take his oath to enter the Navy. Fast forward many miles, 5 days, and the surprise that he was still there (or she?) patiently, respinning the web I had broken when I had to open my back trunk. We can learn a lot from the tenacity of a spider... (IMG_5613)
