Love the DOF, have to agree with the other guy about being centered. If its cropped maybe you could take it to a 3rd one way or the other. But FANTASTIC work!

Congratulations on your nomination as Finalist in the Shallow Depth Competition, best wishes in the final cut. For me the image is all about the inquisitive nature of seagulls. You have that in your image, the all seeing eye and the willingness to approach anything for food. Lovely contrast and excellent interpretation.
