Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken at the Ripley’s Aquarium in Gatlinburg,TN. The Gateway to the Smoky Mountains.

Time

It was during the morning but in a dark room that showed the jellyfish. I was learning how to take photos without a flash.

Lighting

No. I chalk it up to beginners luck but I stood there and took many photos of this jelly. I actually have more.

Equipment

Canon Rebel T5. No flash. Steady hand. Lots of patience.

Inspiration

I wanted to get a jelly photo. I love then and this one was beautiful.

Editing

Yes. I used fotor as a post just made it darker to make the image stand out a blurred the edges.

In my camera bag

My two lenses and the camera. I also have a macro lens.

Feedback

Patience and play with the settings. I never took a formal class but I have read a lot and just set a goal. Last summer was butterflies in flight and I am still thinking of my goal for this summer. I constantly am behind the camera and take it everywhere. Some turn out and some do not—-that is the fun of it.
