Location
In a small village Zlogona Gora in Slovenia.Time
I took it in the morning after a gruesome 1 hour walk through mud, so by the time I reached the spot I was pretty exhausted, but when I saw the view I forgot about all that and just enjoyed the scenery before me.Lighting
This was truly a beautiful autumn morning the mist was present down at the valley, the sun came up beautifully, and also the clouds seem to work with me that day. To sum it up spectacular conditions for photographers.Equipment
I took this with a Nikon D5300 and a 18-140mm lens mounted on a Sirui N-1004 tripod.Inspiration
I've been to this spot allready; it is sort of my go to place every month. What truly amazes me about this place is the view.Editing
Yes, I merged 3 images into panorama, and than did some work on it. I processed it like Serge Ramelli does.In my camera bag
I always have; cause it's all I have :D, a Nikon D5300 with a 18-140mm lens, a 35 f/1.8 lens a cheap wireless remote trigger, a spare battery and a tripod. That's it.Feedback
Don't get fixated on the idea that you need the best equipment to get the shot. You will quickly discover that the real magic happens in post processing. Be sure to visit the same location a couple of times during the year. You never know what you might get. Watch a lot of photography tutorials, if you want them for free I found that one of the best; at least for me, is Serge Ramelli.
