Sunset, Gibbet Hill, Groton MA: OK... So... I was heading home with my daughter in the car and this gorgeous sunset beckoned. I literally could not resist. So I pulled to the curb, put on my 4 way lights, walked across the street and watched the beauty unfold. I took several shots when a police cruiser pulled up behind me with lights flashing (he spared me the siren thank goodness). I was preparing my alibi as I approached him (I had none~ I am a sucker for sunsets). I was all ready to hear something along the lines of "Move it along"... Boy was I wrong! He rolled down his window and said "Gorgeous isn't it"? I nearly fell over. He made sure we were ok (damn emergency lights on my car lol) and proceeded to give me tips for several other good viewing spots in the town!!! What a sweetie... I think I may plan to park there again some time ;)
