Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was taken in my flat in "the garden of England" (Kent) on a frosty February morning.

Time

It was valentines morning and I'd set the flat up so it would be romantic for when my partner woke up. I had some spare time as they were lying in. Times like that are my favourite to take pictures. Just look at a subject and imagine the image them tinker around trying to find it.

Lighting

The morning light was very cold. It poured in through our Juliet balcony in the second floor making it very easy to maximise its impact on the picture.

Equipment

This was take on my Nikon 3200 dslr and a thirty year old Nikon macro lens.

Inspiration

I like to appreciate the little moments and little things in life. I always want to celebrate how big the little things really are.

Editing

Nope

In my camera bag

50mm. 18-35mm. 70-300mm. And my Nikon.

Feedback

Take your time to play with the aperture. Enjoy that process o constructing the image.
