Location
I was going for a walk along the Trans Canada trail in St. Jacobs, OntarioTime
I can't remember the exact time of day, but believe it was sometime after lunch.Lighting
I had thought of using the flash, as it was an overcast day, but thought better of it and went for the natural light.Equipment
This picture was taken with a Canon Rebel EOS T3 and 18-55mm lens. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
I was walking on the trail, and it followed along a farmers field. I saw the gate, and the field, and thought it would make an interesting picture.Editing
No, I didn't do any post-processing. What you see, is exactly what I saw. :)In my camera bag
I started out with my Canon Rebel T3 EOS and 18-55mm lens. A couple of years ago I added a 70-300mm lens. Soon I would like to add the Canon 7D, and a few more lenses. :)Feedback
Go with your instinct about how you want to take the picture, and it usually turns out exactly how you thought it would.
