Location
I took this photo in Whitefriars Square Canterbury, not long after ChristmasTime
This photo was taken at approximately 6pm, just before I started to head for home.Lighting
The lights are the annual Whitefriars Christmas lights.Equipment
I used my new camera which was a simple point and shoot Olympus VG-120, as an amateur photographer I had not yet taught myself about apparture and ISO settings so I had used the cameras night setting.Inspiration
The lights are suspended on wires across the square. As I was walking through the square I noticed how it looked like colourful orbs floating in the air.Editing
The photo is as it was taken, no post processing was involved as this was also something I did not know much about at the time.In my camera bag
My bag is a rather simple bag, all I have is my camera and some spare batteries.Feedback
To be honest I would not know what advise to give other than go with what you feel is right, If you can't get the shot you want the first time try again. You never know you might end up capturing something completely different but just as awesome.
