I have a nikon D7000 with a 50mm lens and for this shot i used a tripod. There are several photos used as a composite.Inspiration
The over all image came through to me as fantasy to create some location away from my reality. I live in a small town where we don't have an ocean, however i do travel so often that i collect images when i travel and get inspired to create images based on a feeling or some type of movie. Most often i love creating a surreal image that evokes a feeling.Editing
Yes! Most of the time when i edit images i come across the ones that makes me want to create a surreal image for the simplicity of making a story. This photo particular has 5 different photos been composite into this one image. The lighting sometimes is being manipulated in photoshop however it is important to shoot all images at the same lighting time you prefer and that is alway consistent to avoid difficulties in brightness or darkness. Also i listen to one particular song when i edited this photo so it made my workflow very interesting :)In my camera bag

When you travel take photos, if you are interested in getting the same over look to your image make sure your lighting is the same. as well as settings. Take as many photo angles you can when you collect your images and just have fun editing something unique! :)
