Behind The Lens
Location
I took this photo when in the peak district. It on top of a hill and behind the camera it was surrounded but rocks making it easier to position the camera and for the person in the photo to jump.Time
The time of day was sunset. We did not expect it to be such good sunset however it is one I will remember for year and probably one of the best I have seen in a long time.Lighting
The lighting was at the peak time of sunset when the sun turned the cloud red and orange which for myself make a great sunset.Equipment
I had my only piece of equipment I own which is my canon 600d it is a sturdy camera however there are better ones.Inspiration
I have taken photos of sunsets all the time. When seeing this sunset I wanted to make it different we played around with shadows however instead got amazing natural silhouettes of the people making shadows. This brought me back to a photo take of Finn Harries called the jump shot. Finn Harries jumps like the person in the photo and someone takes a photo and it can be in various locations. When the idea came into my head I had to take it so we did and I haven't looked back.Editing
There are no effects on this photo which I think if why I like it so much because it was pure.In my camera bag
What I now have is still same camera and nothing else apart from my iPhone 6.Feedback
The photo was taken without any preparation and was in the making I happened to have my camera on me and was not prepared. So with that being said I would tell photographers to go out there and look more shots and chance it.
