Location
The photo was taken during my tour in Singapore Zoo.I like to explore new places.Time
The show started around 5:30pm with lots of viewers.I push myself to be in-front so that I can have a clean shoot.Lighting
Since I cannot control the lighting I set the ISO to auto and take control in the shutter speed and also set the shooting mode to multiple shoot so that I can freeze the fire motion.Equipment
This was shot on a entry-level Canon 600D with Canon 18-200mm f3.5-5.6 IS Lens.No other equipment used.Inspiration
Actually I didn't know that there is a fire-dance.I just go there together with my friend, enjoying the show and capture those beautiful moments and I got this awesome shot.Editing
I did a little post-processing in Lightroom 4 to enhance the photo. In my camera bag
After learning my first dslr camera which is the entry-level Canon 600D, I upgraded to a semi-professional dslr camera which is the Canon 70D with a telephoto lens Canon 70-300mm f4-5.6L IS USM Lens and a Canon 24-105mm f4L IS USM Lens,2 external flash with wireless triggers and a bundle of batteries which I always carry whenever I go out for a shoot.Feedback
When you are watching a show like this you cannot direct the subject so you just have to set the ISO to auto, adjust the shutter speed and set the shooting mode to multiple shoot.Don't mind the ISO noise, you can manage that in photoshop, be safe in a blurred shot.Stick your eyes in the camera's viewfinder and focus, you might miss those breathtaking moments.(I"M A NEWBIE)
