Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in a studio with a model, who is a ballerina. It was a studio evening with my camera club, Princes Risborough Photographic Society. Everyone asked her to pose as you would expect for a ballerina, but I chose to ask her to pose in a different manner. She layed on the floor with her legs pointing upwards and her arms outstretched.

Time

It was in the evening, but in a studio.

Lighting

The lighting was excellent, due to the studio conditions and the white background.

Equipment

Hand held Canon 5D.

Inspiration

I like to take the normal and try and make it a little bit different.

Editing

Yes, I turned her upside down and added some shadows to make the illusion of a cloud.

In my camera bag

Lens and camera.

Feedback

Take the normal shot and then try and think outside the box.
