Literally, the smoke coming out is considered Holy, given that it is emanating from the "Aarathi", a Hindu tradition of lighting up huge lamps or pods of oil, to worship. This tradition is carried out EACH and every day at the banks of river Ganga in Varanasi. A young man, who adorns traditional clothes performing the aarathi, even as the place gets filled with Smoke!
