The Yampa valley is so picturesque for sure. Were you driving toward's Steamboat or was this in Steamboat along the river? There are several ponds/lakes. Great Landscape!

Thanks for the kind words, and I don't really remember exactly which way I was headed at the time, because I was simply passing through and had to stop for some photos kind of spur of the moment.
