I took this in a field of wildflowers, that are about 12-18 inches tall, and that attracts a lot of bees.Time
Early morning 9:00 amLighting
A clear day, but not too bright yet.Equipment
I take most of my closeups with Nikon d7000 and a 18-140 vs lens, I was using a tripod, with remote, Had the camera on a low tripod and focused just above this flower and waited until there was an incoming bee.Inspiration
I really enjoy doing insect shot, and this is one of my favorite flowers, love the variegated bright color.Editing
Just sharpened a tad and cropped. In my camera bag
Nikon D7000, 18-140 vs lens and a 70-300 vs lens, tripod and remoteFeedback
Patience and a remote work really well.
