I remember that I was in ogallala Nebraska got the funeral of my 24 year old nephew When the grief was so overwhelming that I needed to find "My happy place." This Photo was taken around 3 or 4 in the afternoon when the time was Just right.Lighting

The light, clouds, and scene just seemed right when I looked up. With the reason of why I was in ogallala this view showed me that there was still beauty in the world.Editing

I usually carry my rebel camera with 2 lenses (18-55mm) and (75-300mm telephoto) , a opteka soft light box, a extra charged battery and charger, camera remote, cleaning kit, and the cord for the computerFeedback
Your eyes are the best tool you can use. I shoot everything, some doesn't turn out and some do. But I never take less than 4 shots of the same thing. You never can tell if the shot will turn out and you don't want to only have one shot in case one is blurry or has something wrong with it. If you can picture the shot on a card or in a magazine that by all means shoot it!
