It was fascinating to watch this Buckeye fly from lantana blossom to blossom this afternoon. Butterfly wings often break when a predator goes after them, leaving a piece of their wing in a beak or claw...they just take their broken wings and learn to fly differently :-) (IMG_8635_10082014)
