I wanted to capture the morning sun on her face. The sunlight was soft and filtering through the trees. It looked beautiful on her face. She had the most interesting face. It told many stories, just by looking at her.Equipment
I used a Nikon D600. No tripod, no flash. I had a 300mm zoom lens.Inspiration
I love the history behind the shamanistic beliefs in Mongolia. I felt so amazed and fortunate to be a witness of the ceremony and culture. Specifically, her ritual and interesting face were inspiring.Editing
I did edit this photo. I cropped it and increased the contrast a bit. I also enhanced the colors and warmth somewhat.In my camera bag
