I like the play on lighting and the shadows that are being cast by the passing clouds. Great job!

Location
This photo was taken back when I was new to photography while walking around Manhattan. The weather was perfect that April with the sun shining and light cloud coverage, which gave the silver towers the perfect reflection.Time
This was taken around noon, I was spending time with my grandfather as going to the city was one of our favorite things to do together. We were in search for some good New York food for lunch, and it was the perfect time of day to take a photo like this.Lighting
Natural light is an incredible source for creativity, often photographers have to rely on artificial light to get the perfect shot, but at the right times on the right days, the sun is all you need.Equipment
I shot this on a Canon Rebel T4i, and an 18-135mm lens, which came with the camera. It just goes to show that anyone with whatever equipment you have is all you need as long as you the right settings and a keen eye.Inspiration
The architecture of Manhattan is something special in itself, to me New York City has a personality of its own that no other city, no matter how amazing it is, can match. Every moment gives the potential to catch something incredible.Editing
Toward the beginning of when I was getting into photography I didn't do much post-processing aside from changing contrast and brightness as well as saturation a bit. Editing can make a good photo into a great one, and I suggest that everyone practice editing. In my camera bag
Typically I carry my Camera and three lenses, a 50mm which is my current favorite, a 10-35mm, and a 75-200mm. I also carry the camera charger, a shutter remote, my SD card case, my flash, and a USB SD card reader. I always try to have my most used equipment with me to ensure I have everything I need to shoot, save, and edit.Feedback
My best advice is to practice shooting with natural lighting. Choose a wide array of subjects at various lengths in sunny and cloudy conditions. Also practice editing so you can really get the perfect look. Just go out and shoot until you get the photo you want!
