I was 14 years old when I took this photo in Batam, Indonesia.Time
This was one of my first pictures, I loved the fact that I didn't even use a DSLR for this. I played around with my phone's manual options. It was around 7 am when I was walking along the coast and I was like "Why not?".Lighting
Honestly, I consider myself lucky that the skies were clear that day and I got raw sunlight, which added to the vibes.Equipment
The truth is, I was 14 when I took this and I had nothing but a smartphone to snap this pic. I reduced the exposure and snapped.Inspiration
I was in a very pristine environment, everything was so calm and the sun and the cottage there seemed to fit my mood.Editing

A wide angle lens, my phone for editing(if needed), a bokeh lens. My bag isn't exactly full, I just improvise with what I have. Of course, I would have 3 extra batteries at least, and you wouldn't know how powerful today's smartphones are.Feedback
It's really simple to capture stuff like this. It's all about perspective and trying to make the most ordinary things beautiful. The world around is so beautiful that even what we consider ordinary looks so beautiful. Just look around, get a sense of what's around you... turn everything into an opportunity.
