These gentle giants in Sequoia are the oldest living thing on earth some reaching 3,200 years. Imagine what they would tell us if they could talk; my mind takes off forming all kinds of scenarios and fun tales for my grandchildren. Their massive size draw my eyes like a magnet from the base of the tree up the cinnamon-red deeply-furrowed trunks to the soft green pine needles and eventually to Heaven and back.
